Alkablends®?
An alkalised diet will support rumen health, animal health and performance, ultimately driving profitability in any ruminant system. Alkablends® have shown to improve nutrient utilisation in the ruminant and therefore improve feed efficiency.
Blends can be tailored to farm requirements and depending on other forages and feeds available.
Alkablends® have been developed to provide producers with a flexible method of incorporating Alkasystems technology into compound feeding programmes. By including approved levels of Alkagrain® 150 within the blend, the finished feed remains alkaline and can contribute starch, sugars and other nutrients whilst helping to support rumen function.
Because every livestock enterprise has different forage quality, production targets and feeding objectives, Alkablends® can be formulated to complement existing feeding programmes. This allows nutritionists and producers to develop rations that make effective use of available feed resources whilst supporting animal performance, feed efficiency and rumen stability.
